Finding Balance

Integrating Horsemanship, Movement, and the Mind

with Dr. Catherine Wycoff and Riding Far

Riding Far is excited to announce Finding Balance, a unique collaborative clinic with our friend Dr. Catherine Wycoff

August 29-30!

Group Feldenkrais with Dr. Catherine Wycoff for both Horses and People

Group rider mindset sessions with Dr. Paul Haefner

Private lessons with Justin Haefner

This is not a clinic built around quick fixes or one-size-fits-all exercises. It is an opportunity to slow down, observe more deeply, and understand the factors that influence balance, communication, confidence, and performance. By integrating principles of movement science, nervous system regulation, equine rehabilitation, and classical horsemanship, participants will develop practical tools that create meaningful and lasting change for both horse and rider.

Together, we will explore the place where movement, psychology, and horsemanship intersect.

Whether you are working through a performance plateau, addressing physical asymmetries, building confidence, or simply striving for greater harmony, this clinic is designed to help you better understand what your horse is telling you, what your own body is communicating, and how small changes can transform the partnership between you.

There are only 4 clinic riding spots and 8 non-riding spots available and they will be reserved on a first come, first served basis, when payment is received. A waiting list will be created in the event that all the spots fill. All clinic purchases are non-refundable, although it may be transferred to an alternative participant at minimum 48 hours prior to the start of the clinic.
